Sue Hinton – Onions

Creating illusions in the form of murals is a particular interest of mine but, as there is a limit on the number of available walls, I paint quite a lot of canvases and MDF panels too!

An amateur artist with no formal training, I first picked up a paintbrush in earnest in 2002 when an activity holiday in Cornwall gave me my first introduction to mural painting, perspective and working in acrylics. I now paint a wide variety of subjects in a realistic style, mostly still in acrylics although I’m increasingly experimenting with coloured pencils too.
