Jan Bastow – South African Roots

I am an artist printmaker who works in the South East of England. I belong to an exhibiting group of printmakers who exhibit widely in galleries and hospitals in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. I have exhibited at the Peltz Gallery in London and have sold work internationally as well as in the UK.

My work focuses mainly on the natural world, word and image, and social issues.

‘South African Roots’ shows these three gorgeous girls I met in South Africa. I was fascinated by the patterns in their hair which were beautiful.
