Bob Milton – Cherry Trees at Lake Fugikawaguchiko

Bob was born in London [1949] and studied art from an early age spending many hours during holidays from the age of seven at the Natural History Museum and London Zoo drawing. He studied A level art under the well-known Guildford artist Ron Smoothey at the Royal Grammar School before starting in architecture. He sold his first oil painting whilst at school and went onto sell his hard-edged abstracts to enthusiasts in the UK and Germany until getting involved with landscape garden design and construction with his own company for the next thirty years specialising in lakes and ponds. Bob switched from oils to watercolours in 2000 and now includes acrylics
